Band of Vices announces Dear Artists… BE STILL — the second chapter of its multi-show initiative and a love letter to visual artists and patrons. Rooted in still life, this iteration asks for a different kind of attention: slower, closer, more honest. Dedicated to the legacy of Melvin A. Marshall, a curator who championed artists with care, BE STILL arrives as the gallery’s 50th exhibition, staging a quiet disruption of the current art-market narrative: access over anxiety, presence over spectacle, substance over noise.
